Flight Aesthetics + Salon is more than a dream to me—it’s a piece of my heart and a testament to the love, loss and faith that have shaped my life. I spent years as a flight nurse, caring for others in some of the most intense, challenging situations, but the idea of Flight was something entirely different—a dream Bryan, my husband, and I shared. We imagined a place where we could serve others, a space where people could feel truly seen, celebrated, and loved.
Bryan was the love of my life, my partner, and my greatest inspiration. Our relationship was built on a shared dedication to our country and a passion for serving others—values that brought us together and strengthened the bond between us. Bryan, an Army Apache helicopter pilot, devoted his life to his mission, and I saw in him a strength and commitment that mirrored my own calling as a critical care nurse. Together, we envisioned Flight as a sanctuary where beauty, wellness and faith would come together, a place where we could work side by side while being more present for our family and our community.
On February 23, 2024, everything changed. Bryan’s helicopter crashed in a tragic accident, and in that instant, I lost the man who loved me more deeply than I ever thought possible. He was my partner, my compass, and the person who always believed in me, even when I couldn’t believe in myself. Losing him felt like a part of my own soul had been torn away, leaving a void so profound that I often wondered how I could ever move forward. In those darkest days, my heart was filled with a grief that words can hardly capture, but in that place of pain, I also felt something incredible—God’s presence, steady and strong, guiding me through the heartbreak.
I began to understand that our dream didn’t have to end; it was simply taking on new meaning. What began as a vision for us became a calling for me—a way to honor Bryan, to carry forward his unwavering belief in this dream, and to bring hope, love, and light to others. With each step I took to bring Flight to life, I felt my faith deepen. God guided me, reminding me that His plan is always bigger than ours.
Today, Flight Aesthetics + Salon is a place where love, faith, and beauty come together in a way that I hope honors Bryan’s memory and celebrates each person who walks through our doors. I’ve built this space not only to enhance outer beauty but to create an environment where my team can thrive, where we can lift each other up, and where every client—both men and women—feels like part of our family.
